Welcome to the Washington DC Shotokan Karate Club. We are a nonprofit organization offering education and training in traditional Japanese karate. We are one of the oldest dojos (studios) in the Washington area, founded in 1978. Our diverse membership hails from many different walks of life and over a dozen countries, from children to adults of all ages. We train for self-defense, as well as the rewards that real effort brings: fitness, focus, friendship, and fun!
