FEES

Fees are much lower at the DC Karate Club than most other clubs because we are a non-profit organization. Instructors and club officials are volunteers and are not compensated for instruction or administrative duties.

Monthly dues are:

Adult $50/month
Full time student $35/month
Youth $30/month

We offer discounts:

For paying full quarterly dues by the 10th of the first month of the quarter, adult dues are $145 instead of $150
When paying quarterly, a second family member pays only 50% of dues and a third pays only 25%

Additional fees required of members include:

ISKF membership and insurance $45/year
Rank testing fee $30/test

Regular monthly dues payment is essential for club operations. Members must give written notice to a club officer, in advance, to have dues waived during a leave of absence.

Checks should be written to DC Karate Club and mailed to Dave Altieri, 1009 Chesapeake Dr, Stevensville, MD  21666.  Alternatively, dues payments may be given to any club officer.

Joan Hisaoka Memorial Youth Scholarship

The club offers a scholarship to one child per year. It covers all membership fees and a uniform.

We welcome applications from any student with the interest to learn karate, a supportive adult who will facilitate regular training, and the financial need for a scholarship.
