RETURNING AND VISITING STUDENTS
If you have a rank from an ISKF or JKA club, please bring an exam certificate or membership card. You may continue to wear your current belt unless you have not trained in several years and need to brush up first.
If you earned rank in some other Shotokan organization or in another style, our custom is for you to wear a white belt until you have been tested and ranked with the ISKF, or until an instructor has observed your training for several sessions.

Come and observe a training. It's ideal if you can stay until the end so you can speak to a member about your interest and ask questions.
